Hi BobElflowski,

Hp Scanner Software For Mac

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that your HP Envy 4500 Series printer will not print after being set up. This printer’s drivers are available directly from running Software Update on your Mac so you shouldn’t need to download them directly. The first attached article shows that this specific printer’s software is available.

Hp Easy Scan Software Mac

Good afternoon all - I have had issues since upgrading to OS X Yosemite. Since I have upgraded the operating system to OS X 9.5 to OS 10.10 the scanner function in my HP Officejet printer will not scan. I checked the setting to ensure the scan to computer was enabled yet the scanner will not communicate with the computer and vice versa. I have been to HP's website and left them a message and chatted with one of the technical reps. The tec rep told me to purchase a new all in one. I asked him for $250 so I can pay for another one. ;D So far I have heard no reply back. I am still trying to troubleshoot this issue since upgrading my iMac last month. I put a message on the Apple community as well. Still no response back. Hopefully this forum can help. Thanks,
